Pork ribs in Jamaica flowers sauce

Ingredients

  • 12 ribs
  • ½ onion
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • ¼ cup Jamaica flower concentrate
  • 20 grinded Jamaica flowers
  • ¾ cup syrup
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

  • Season ribs with salt and pepper, bake at 150 degrees for 30 minutes or until tender and the meat falls off the bone.
  • The flowers are macerated in the jamaica concentrate, fry onion in butter, hibiscus syrup is added and allowed to thicken.
  • The ribs are bathed and served in sauce.
  • They accompanied by rice with nuts.
