Pork Rib Eye with Red Wine Sauce
Ingredients
- 4 cuts of Rib Eye
- 250 ml. red wine
- ½ medium onion
- 1 cup water
- 50 ml. grenadine
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 cups fresh mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- aromatic herbs c / n
- Salt and pepper c / n
Preparation
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper and roast on the grill until brown on all sides.
- Grind the onion in a blender for a few seconds with a cup of water and strain.
- Fry over medium heat and season, add the red wine and grenadine and cut in half, mix the starch in a tablespoon of cold water and pour it into the sauce, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
- Saute with a tablespoon of olive oil until the mushrooms change color, add the pepper and aromatic herbs.
- You can also add sauteed slices of pumpkin as a side dish.
