Sweet and Sour Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 chops
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 ½ tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 3 slices of pineapple in chunks in syrup
  • ½ cup of pineapple syrup
  • soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch dissolved in cold water

Preparation

  • Grill chops until brown and cooked through.
  • Pour the sugar, a few drops of soy sauce, vinegar, orange juice and pineapple syrup, starch and heat over medium heat until thickened and end season and enter the pineapple chunks.
  • Serve chops are accompanied by salsa and watercress salad or sautéed in butter chard.
